Privacy and Data Protection Statement

Last updated: 17 July 2026

This Privacy and Data Protection Statement explains how information submitted through the Digital Transformation for Inclusion (DT4I) Assessment Tools is collected, used, stored and protected. It applies to all DT4I assessments, including the Digital Maturity, Data Maturity, AI Readiness and Organisational Behaviour Assessments (collectively referred to in this Statement as the "Assessments").

1. What is our legal framework?

Personal data is processed in accordance with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

2. What is the legal basis for processing your personal data?

The legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent, as provided by your voluntary participation in the Assessments. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the below-mentioned contact point. All processing of your personal information will stop once you withdraw your consent; however, any processing that has already taken place remains lawful.

3. Who We Are

The Assessments were developed and are managed by AdVision Finance, a company based in the Netherlands. Questions about this statement or the processing of your personal data may be directed to AdVision Finance at adv@advisionfinance.nl

4. Information We Collect

AdVision Finance will collect your full name, job title, professional contact details and basic information about your organisation, including its name, country, institution type and areas of operation. We also collect your responses to the assessment questions and the scores, maturity levels and recommendations generated from those responses. You should not include personal customer data, confidential customer information or sensitive personal information in any open-text response. The assessment platform may collect limited technical information necessary for its operation and security, such as the date and time of submission and information about the browser or device used.

5. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used to generate your results, provide tailored recommendations and help your organisation identify areas for improvement. Assessment information will also be used to develop anonymised and aggregated benchmarks, analyse common trends and maturity levels across participating institutions, and contribute to sector reports, publications and a public insights dashboard.

6. Confidentiality and Publication

Individual assessment responses and organisation-level results will be treated as confidential. Individual responses will not be shared with third parties or published without your explicit written consent. Any reporting or benchmarking will use anonymised and aggregated data only. No individual respondent or participating organisation will be identifiable in published findings. Where an organisation agrees to participate in a case study or public communication, the information to be disclosed will be discussed and agreed with the organisation in advance.

7. Data Security

AdVision Finance applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse or destruction. Access to identifiable assessment information is restricted to authorised persons who require it for the purposes described in this statement. While reasonable measures are taken to protect information, no online platform or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Data Retention

Personal data will be retained for five years from the date the assessment is completed. After this period, all information that identifies an individual or organisation will be securely deleted. Anonymised assessment data that can no longer be linked to an individual or organisation may be retained for benchmarking, research and sector analysis.

9. What Are Your Rights?

Participation in the Assessments is voluntary, and your personal data is processed based on your consent. You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time. You may also withdraw your consent or request that we stop or restrict the processing of your personal data. Withdrawing consent will not affect any processing that took place before the consent was withdrawn.

10. Changes to This Statement

This statement may be updated periodically to reflect changes to the DT4I Assessment Tools, data-processing practices or applicable legal requirements. The latest version will be published on the DT4I website together with the date on which it was last updated.
